Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of VoiceInbox, a voice-first email client for iOS. Please read them carefully — by installing or using the app you agree to be bound by them.

1. The service

VoiceInbox is an iOS email client with a voice and smart-text layer. It connects to email accounts you already own (Gmail, iCloud, Outlook, Yahoo, IMAP) and helps you read, compose, summarize, translate, and reply. The app acts as a client between your device and your email provider — we do not store persistent copies of your messages on our servers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country (whichever is higher), and legally able to enter a binding agreement.

3. Your account & connected mailboxes

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your device passcode and biometrics enabled
• The security of the email accounts you connect
• Any activity performed through the app on those accounts

Only connect accounts you own or are authorized to access.

4. Subscriptions & billing

4.1 Plans

• Free — full email client; 20 voice actions or a 7-day trial of voice features
• Pro — €9.99 / month or €99 / year
• Pro+ — €16.99 / month or €169 / year

Prices are shown in EUR and include VAT where applicable. Local Apple App Store pricing may vary.

4.2 Free trial

You can try Pro or Pro+ free for 7 days. Cancel before the end of the trial to avoid being charged.

4.3 Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically through your Apple ID at the end of each period unless turned off at least 24 hours before. You can manage or cancel at any time in your App Store settings.

4.4 Refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under their refund policies. We are unable to issue refunds directly.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use VoiceInbox to violate any law or third-party right
• Connect mailboxes you don't own or aren't authorized to access
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service
• Use the app to send unlawful, harassing, infringing, or spam content
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the service

We may suspend or terminate access if you break these rules.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the messages, voice input, and other content you process through VoiceInbox. You grant us a limited, temporary, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to deliver the feature you requested (transcription, summarization, reply, translation). The license ends when the action completes.

7. Smart features & accuracy

VoiceInbox includes features that generate or transform text on your behalf — summaries, rewrites, suggested replies, translations. These can be inaccurate, incomplete, or otherwise unsuitable. Always review generated content before sending or relying on it.

8. Third-party services

VoiceInbox interacts with email providers (Google, Apple, Microsoft, Yahoo, your IMAP host) and with speech and language sub-processors. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability or content.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we process and your rights. By using VoiceInbox you acknowledge that processing.

10. Disclaimers

VoiceInbox is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of VoiceInbox is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (for example, for fraud or gross negligence).

12. Termination

You may stop using VoiceInbox at any time by uninstalling the app and cancelling your subscription through Apple. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or applicable law, with reasonable notice where possible.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
