Cookie Policy
This page explains how voiceinbox.app uses cookies and similar storage technologies. The VoiceInbox iOS app itself does not use web cookies — this policy applies to the website.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. We also use browser localStorage and pixel-style requests that work similarly. Together we refer to all of these as "cookies".
2. Categories we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the website to work and cannot be switched off. They store your cookie-consent choices and basic security tokens. They do not identify you.
2.2 Analytics
With your consent we measure anonymous, aggregated usage — which pages get visited, which CTA gets clicked, where the page errors out. This helps us improve the product. We do not build personal profiles from this data and we do not sell it.
2.3 Marketing & preferences
If you opt in, we may set cookies that help us measure the effectiveness of campaigns (for example, App Store referral tracking). You can switch this off at any time.
3. Specific cookies on this site
The exact list of cookies depends on the consent choices you make. A typical set is:
| Name / family | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cookieyes-consent |
CookieYes | Stores your cookie-consent choices (strictly necessary) | 1 year |
_ga, _ga_* |
Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes anonymous visitors; aggregated usage stats | up to 2 years |
_gid |
Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes anonymous visitors over a 24h window | 24 hours |
_gat |
Google Analytics 4 | Throttles request rate | 1 minute |
| GTM container | Google Tag Manager | Loads other measurement scripts only if you consent | session |
Some optional cookies may be added by future campaigns. The CookieYes banner always reflects the current list — open it via the link below.
4. Managing your choices
You can change or withdraw consent any time:
- Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of this site, or the button below.
- Clear cookies in your browser settings (this also resets your consent and the banner will show again).
- Browsers also allow you to block cookies globally or per site.
5. Third-party services
When we load tools like Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, those providers may also set their own cookies subject to their privacy policies:
6. Mobile app
The VoiceInbox iOS app does not use web cookies. For information about data the app processes (voice, email content, account credentials), see our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes
We update this policy when we add or remove cookies. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest version.
